Process

The Phases of Construction

The construction process is the detailed steps required to complete your construction project. This process can be broken down into five phases – planning/design, pre-construction, procurement, construction, and post-construction. Depending on the size and scope of the project, each phase has its own set of challenges.

The Initiation Phase

Prioritizing the initiation phase is critical for construction project managers. It lays the foundation for the rest of the project, including programming, feasibility, schematic design, and contract documents.

The Pre-Construction Phase

Project team prepares construction site with environmental tests, reviews by city. Professional stakeholders, Contract Administrator, Project Manager, Superintendent, Field Engineer, and Health and Safety Manager, engaged for smooth execution.

The Procurement Phase

In the current stage, the designated team shall procure the essential materials, tools, and services required for the successful execution of the project. The complexity of this phase may vary based on the project's magnitude, resource allocation, and the commencement date.

The Construction Phase

The Closeout Phase
